I was born and educated in Italy and I developed a love for the arts at a very young age. Italy, a country that contributed so much to the arts worldwide, gave me a sense of the artistic patrimony and the fundamentals for what I wanted to do, achieve and become in my life. "My Art does not belong to me, I belong to my Art." Ever since I can remember, painting and creating through the various mediums has been my way of life as an artist.
With my paintings I want to take the viewer into a special place: if it is a landscape, for you to be there; if it is a portrait, to feel that one has the real person next to them; if it is a floral, to sense the fragrance. People have said of my artworks, “I feel that I can walk right into the painting."Please enjoy what I present to you. Just remember these paintings are part of me, done in tune with nature, my soul, my heart, and my skills as a painter.
In the United States, I attended Vesper George School of Art for Commercial Art in Boston, MA and I further my artistic education by taking numerous workshops. As an instructor for many years, I enjoy educating all about the arts. Some of the places I taught are Northern Essex Community College and for the City of Lawrence, MA as well as giving private instruction. I am involved with the judging of numerous arts competition and events. In 1998, together with my husband Jim we founded the organization: Arts Institute Group of the Merrimack Valley (501(c) 3) – Now retired from it I pursue my art full time.
